這支八人蘇格蘭樂隊，內向卻不孤立，美麗卻不懦弱，清新自流，抒情討好，卻隔絕滯膩平庸。編曲不落俗套的賦予多方面巧妙的配置，融合了吉他、小喇叭、木琴、長笛、口琴、風琴、打擊樂器等，管弦傾吐出讓人暈眩的輕快樂音。精神上延續了早夭的蘇格蘭民謠傳奇Nick Drake最纖細的一面，及80年初的The Smith蒼白虛弱的年少純情，不少甜美的部份不禁會讓人想起最溫柔時候的Velvet Underground。女聲Monica Queen和男主音Stuart Murdoch和配合也是一個亮點。B&S總是拿美好的旋律和溫柔的嗓音涂抹著變色的幻夢和憂郁，魔力般盤旋，久難消散。
