Quoted by music critics as one of Europe's most promising jazz singers, Aleksandra possesses distinctive and smooth voice, which lays bare her exceptional sensitivity and great skills of creating a variety of emotions and atmospheres. Aleksandra, currently based in London, has the privilege to cooperate with Belgium's finest musicians, who are involved in top Belgian productions. In 2008 Aleksandra and her Belgian band released a highly acclaimed album of special and fresh originals called 'Island Girl' – released and distributed in the UK, Japan and Europe by London's label: 33Jazz. Since then the Band played very successful gigs in Europe. They performed in London's prestigious venues such as Ronnie Scott's Bar, Bull's Head, Royal National Theatre and Barbican Centre.
