這位原名Alejandro Ghersi的23歲委內瑞拉籍音樂人，因為共同制作Kanye West《Yeezus》聲名大噪，近年與超級新人FKA twigs 的合作亦讓他在流行樂壇聲勢水漲船高，11月即將發行首張專輯《 Xen》之際， Bj?rk也找上門邀請Arca共同制作新專輯。 委內瑞拉出生的制作人Alejandro Ghersi 音樂化名Arca，曾參與制作Kanye West 的《Yeezus》，不過真正對這個名字有印象，是來自FKA twigs 的《EP2》，Arca 的共同制作加上Jesse Kanda 的強烈視覺沖擊，三人結盟讓FKA twigs 在正式出輯前就驚艷四方。 Arca 在制作Bj?rk 新專輯之余，個人首張專輯《Xen》也準備就緒，"Xen" 是專輯創造出的人物概念，可以當她是一個女孩，也可以當她是Arca 謎樣且多樣的內心投射。 Xen 的形象首先在〈Thievery〉與大家赤裸相見，導演就是長期結盟伙伴Jesse Kanda，見識過Jesse Kanda 為FKA twigs 操刀的影像和專輯設計，Xen 的怪誕美很快就可以親近的是吧？ Alejandro Ghersi, better known by his stage name Arca, is a Venezuelan producer, consultant, mixing engineer and DJ based in Dalston, London. Born in Caracas, Venezuela, he attended the Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music at NYU. In 2012, he released three EPs on the UNO NYC label: his debut as Arca, Barón Libre, Stretch 1, and Stretch 2. In 2013, he lent additional production on four songs from the Kanye West sixth studio album Yeezus, in which he also served as one of the three production consultants along with Hudson Mohawke and Young Chop and as a producer on FKA Twigs' EP2. He self-released the &&&&& mixtape for free, and was involved in an audio-visual performance of &&&&& alongside Jesse Kanda, who contributed the visuals, at MoMA PS1 in October 2013. His debut album, Xen, will be released on November 4, 2014 via Mute Records. He also entered the studio with Bj?rk to work on her ninth album.
