近年來涌現的最為優秀的Shoegaze樂團之一，來自愛爾蘭的Butterfly Explosion終于在與God is an Astronaut一塊兒的巡演中發行了這張Debut全長專輯(之前有過兩張EP)。

碟里的好多歌都讓我痛快到忘乎所以，不斷疊加的華麗，濕熱的吻在每一寸皮膚上。沙啞迷離的男聲配上飄渺的女和聲更是難以拒絕的喜愛，偶爾的優美旋律也溫柔到殺人。

　　Originally a solo home project of guitarist Gazz, Butterfly Explosion has developed into a full blown band, releasing two EPs independently, touring North America, UK and Ireland, with interest bringing festival appearances as far afield as Austin Texas (SXSW) and Tallin Estonia (Paljassaare Rock Fest). Their increasingly epic live shows have seen them be championed by many as one of the most promising bands to emerge from Ireland in recent years. With tracks from the 2nd EP receiving airplay from XFM London to KCRW California, as well as featuring in MOJO magazine's staff playlist, the band's growing profile was helped further by appearances on compilation releases in 2008 by Invada Records ("The Secret Garden - the new wave of shoegaze") and Northern Star Records ("Psychedelica 3"). When UK webzine Drowned In Sound had a week of articles in April 2009 dedicated to the revival and diverse influence of the early 90s shoegaze scene, Butterfly Explosion were amongst the international artists highlighted as ones to watch.
　　Recording on the debut album began late 2008 with producer Torsten Kinsella (God Is An Astronaut) with release scheduled for February 2010 on Irish label Revive Records.
