Sheezus is the upcoming third studio album by English recording artist Lily Allen. It is set to be released on 2 May 2014 by Parlophone. The album is Allen’s first body of work since her musical hiatus in 2009 after the release of second studio album It’s Not Me, It’s You (2009). In June 2012, Allen announced that she would be making a return to music revealing she had been recording a new album, continuing to reveal that she would be returning to the use of her professional name.

On Sheezus, the singer is reunited with music producer Greg Kurstin who collaborated with Allen on previous singles and albums. Kurstin who produced the majority of the album was joined by producer Shellback and DJ Dahi, whilst writing contributions came predominately from Allen and Kurstin.

Sheezus was preceeded by the release of two singles, the lead single “Hard out Here” was released as a download on 17 November 2013 and entered the UK Singles Chart at number nine, giving Allen two simultaneous top 10 hit singles. “Air Balloon” was released as the second single from the album and went on to peak at number seven on the UK Singles Chart.
