(III), also known as Crystal Castles III is the third studio album by Crystal Castles. The album is set to be released on November 12, 2012. It was initially planned to be released on November 5, 2012 before being delayed. The album addresses the theme of oppression, with the musicians using different pedals and keyboards to create a diverse "palette of sound". On October 9, 2012, the tracklist for the album was revealed via the band's official Facebook page. The band released three singles, which are available for free download via their Soundcloud account. "Plague" was released on July 25, 2012, "Wrath of God" was available on September 26, 2012, and "Affection" was available on October 31, 2012. Accompanying music videos are available through the band's Youtube account. Crystal Castles played another new song "Violent Youth" on BBC Radio Nov. 1, 2012.
