KiD BRiTiSH create their own noise by mixing a bit of this with a bit of that and ending up with one big fat MANKY sandwich. It Was This or Football is the debut album by British ska and indie band Kid British. The album was released via Mercury Records in two halves, like a football match - this idea was inspired by the title of the album - the first half was released on 20 July 2009, and the second was scheduled to be released on 14 September and will come with a gatefold sleeve to slot in the first half, but it has been pushed back。

In building up promotion for the release of the album, the band supported The Enemy and The Specials on UK tours.The first half of the album reached #67 in the UK Albums Chart.
