What Am I Waiting For is the debut solo album of American country music singer Heidi Newfield, formerly the lead vocalist in the group Trick Pony. It was released on August 5, 2008.Its lead-off single, "Johnny & June", has charted in the Top 40 on the Hot Country Songs charts.
The track "Can't Let Go" was previously recorded by Ashley Monroe for her unreleased debut album Satisfied, and "Cry Cry ('Til the Sun Shines)" was previously recorded by Martina McBride on her 2007 studio album Waking up Laughing. Former Trick Pony members Keith Burns and Ira Dean co-wrote the title track and "Nothin' Burns Like a Memory".
