A new young talent in Spanish music scene has arrived. Her name Eva Ruiz and she, with only 17 years old, rose to fame after participating in Spanish talent show La Voz Kids (Spanish adaptation of The Voice Kids) and her brilliant rendition of Beyoncé’s “Listen“.
Early this year, the singer signed a big deal with Warner Music and Must Producciones, the same team behind, Auryn, Sweet California and Amelie, to promote her upcoming debut album, due out this fall.
The lead single is the song “Qué has hecho con mi vida” (English: What Have You Done With My Life) a emotional Spanish pop track in the style of other Spanish vocal singers like Malú or Pastora Soler. It was released on digital retailers on June 23rd along the premiere of the music video.
