[00:08.48]Stood a lowly cattle shed,
[00:16.55]Where a mother laid her Baby
[00:24.54]In a manger for His bed:
[00:32.84]Mary was that mother mild,
[00:41.05]Jesus Christ her little Child.
[00:51.62]2. He came down to earth from heaven,
[00:59.19]Who is God and Lord of all,
[01:07.17]And His shelter was a stable,
[01:14.70]And His cradle was a stall;
[01:22.63]With the poor, and mean, and lowly,
[01:29.96]Lived on earth our Savior holy.
[01:37.44]3. But our eyes in truth should see him
[01:48.08]Through his own redeeming love,
[01:55.91]For that child so dear and gentle
[02:03.42]Is our Lord in heaven above,
[02:11.45]As he leads his children on
[02:19.25]To the place where he is gone.
[02:29.47]Not in that poor lowly stable
[02:36.75]With the oxen standing by
[02:45.50]Shall we se him, but in heaven,
[02:52.15]Set at god’s right hand on high.
[02:59.57]Then like stars his children, crowned,
[03:07.54]All in white, his praise will sound!
